Database Corruption? Reindexing possible?

Database Corruption? Reindexing possible?
Hi!

While running the BUILD ALL, I noticed the Detailed pages are built from 1 to 1143 correctly (in increasing order), but then it jumps to 1150,1151,1152,1153 and then gets back to 1144, 1145, 1146... 1149 when then jumps again to 1159, 1154, 1155.....

How come? I wouldn't have paid much attention to this, but lately, each time I tryto modify record 1150, the whole database gets truncated, and all the next records are lost..

Is there any solution to this?

Searching previous posts, I found a Bobsie script which would reorder numbers in links.db, but I can't do that, my users remote rate their sites using their "personal" id!

Thanks!

Thanks!

Check the linksid.txt file and make sure that it contains the LAST RECORD NUMBER in your links.db file.

Hi!

Yes it does, but I'm not sure if that helps with the problem already in the database...

I think it's corrupted anyway...

Any1 else?
