Does anybody know how to solve this problem:

I want to create additional categories in this way:

1.) Category #1 has a link #1:

www.site.com/category-1/link-1.html

2.) When I hit "Build All" I want a "new" category generated which has the link #1 but uses a new, different template, "category-2.html". In fact, this "new" category is just a "clone" of category #1 because everything remains the same but the layout is changed:

www.site.com/category-2/link-1.html

Mmm, no simple way I can think of. You could add the Category_Template field (like we have in GLinks), but I don't know how simple that is to do. I did a quick search and came across these old posts:

OK, thank you Andy, it seems simple and useful, but ...

I wish to have all the links from category #1 in the #1-clone, as:

www.site.com/category-1/link-1.html
www.site.com/category-2/link-1.html

I solved the problem how to use different lyout for links (detailed-1.html vs detailed-1-new-layout.html) with detailed.html templates, but still I can not "copy" all the links in a new "clone" category.

Ah ok. Sorry, not sure I can be much more help - I haven't done much work on Links2 in a many many years
