How can I send a thank you email everytime when someone add a URL to Links. I know there is a feature in Links about an email being send out automatically when validated. How about one which will send after submission?

The reason I would like to see this feature is because I don't have time validating links everyday so I would like to inform my users that all new links will be validated within the next few days.

i know that, what I want to do is send an email automatically thanking the user for adding the site and it should be in the index within the next few days....

you could do it like this:
modify links so it sends you an e-mail every
time someone submit a link and then setup
an auto responder for that e-mail.
i'm assuming you have unlimited e-mail alliases and you can use one of them for that purpose.
if not get a free e-mail account with auto responder

You could include your message in the returned add success page, displayed after a link has been successfully added but not validated.
