I would like to modify my links.def, etc., to include some additional data items. I used the alternate categories modification which is very helpful in showing me how I modify that file. I'm somewhat less confident in messing with the nph_build file. For instance, I can easily add the line
System => [2, 'alpha', 40, 30, 1, '', ''],
and
$db_system = 2;
to add an item I want to call "system". My uncertainty involves where I will be defining $db_system and the other various edits that go into the nph-build file.
