I don't think the cloning is instituted yet.

That's one of the handful of admin features that need to be worked on for the basic user. .def editing and local defaults need to be added too -- since people don't realize when the .def file is rebuilt, all the changes are lost. Also automatic detection of enumerated fields for selection boxes.

And, a nice feature on "import" is to turn off _all_ reqired checking, and turn it back on after. The imports work fine, but certain fields that don't exist in the Links 2.0 database are "required" and cause imports to fail.

Pugdog is right, there is no cloning (if it's an admin only field, then it doesn't need to be added to the Validate). All I've done so far is add a warning that you need to add it to the Validate table.
