Search Result Matching Way......
I feel weird about the result that I get when searching. Example, I search "free fax"

The result show all the links that have the word "free" in the Title and Description first. After 60 to 70 links, then it show the result that have one "free" and one "fax" in the Title and Description.
E.g:-
Title: Free email for all user
Description: All for free at www.blahallfree.com for everyone.

What I want is the links with the word "free" and "fax" to list at first place.
E.g:-
Title: Free Internet Fax for Everyone.
Description: A free internet fax services for everyone.

This is what I mean correct result. Can I make any modification to make it work like the way I want. Help really appreciate.

Hi Leslie,

The search returns "best" matches first. It does this by adding up the number of occurrences of each word, and where they occur. You set index weights to determine how much more a hit in the title is worth, verus in the description.

Assuming you have the default weight (title is worth 3, description is worth 1), when you search for "free fax", every time the word free is encountered in the title, that links score is + 3. Every time you get a hit in the description it is + 1.

Does this make sense?

Cheers,

Alex
