Alex : sub build_clean_name bug
Hello Alex,

The &build_clean_name sub did not create a clean category name, still contain an underscore character, e.g: Internet_Stuff.

FYI : I'm using LinksSQL1.11

Thanks

isn't that what it's suppose to do?

build_clean_name builds a clean directory name.. you can't have a directory with a span..

of course we don't do that such a thing, jerry.

But we can do this :

The underscore char apply for the directory name. For the category name, build_clean_name sub's would replace it with a blank space, am i right ?

That is my problem.. jerry. The build_clean_name sub's didn't change the underscore char.

Thanks

No, build_clean_name takes an input and makes it safe to use in a directory or a URL. You may be thinking from Links 2 where you could not use spaces in the category name. This no longer applies in Links SQL. You can put whatever you like in the category name, and build_clean_name will fix it up so it's ok for using as a directory.

Cheers,

Alex
