I would like to know about the user database that's a part of Links SQL. I'd assume that one wouldn't need to be registered in order to view the links - so is this database just a voluntary mailing list, or a list of users who have registered themselves to add links to the database?

Hi,
It can be used a number of ways. You can set it up so that users have to register before they can add or modify links (recommended), or you can just have users submit links anonymously, and have modifications reviewed by the admin.
The users table also contains users who subscribe to the mailing list.
Cheers,
Alex

Hi,
Yes, under Database->User->Properties you can add as many columns as you like such as (age, sex, occupation, etc). Then on your signup form, all you have to do is add the html for the forms.
