i upgraded from links2 to linksql2 and i thought everyone got a password.
i did change 2 passwords manually then i imported the data at least 2 times
and now almost everyone except the 2 passwords i manually modified have blank passwords
i did another import but still i see no differnce. how can i fix this problem.it's not practical to do it manually

could someone tell me where the user password is saved?

i deleted everything and reinstalled the software again and still passwords are missing except for the admin.

i disabled that the person need to signup to add or rate a link but that means i have to change add.cgi every once and a while so auto submitters do not spam my directory.
is there an easy way to do it?

I have the same problem.
If a user is trying to get his password, he gets a mail with the line: please ask me to set the password if password is empty....

And then I set it manualy
