Alex, You seem to have a confusion in the naming of verify-child.pl. Running verify gets the following message:-

Launching new child ... Child (/home/sites/site12/web/cgi-bin/lsqldev/admin/verify_child.pl) must exist at Links/Parallel.pm line 209, chunk 1.

Renaming to verify_child.pl just causes a different batch of messages.

What errors do you get once you rename it to verify-child.pl?
