I am looking for a developer which can take Links MySQL version 2.0 and convert it to PHP/MySQL. I am not interested in the benefits of Perl over PHP. The project pays $900.00 USD, half once the project is shown halfway complete, and full payment upon project completion. A few additional fields will need to be added. The port to PHP does not need to be precise, yet the well designed layout and functionality of the current perl source of links should be maintained.

What you are suggesting would take one hell of a php programmer and _LOTS_ of time (and more than $900 I expect). I doubt anyone has done this already or is likely to do it and if they do it certainly won't be anywhere close to Links SQL standard.

Your best best would be to get a php programmer to write a completely new script _based_ on Links SQL, or download an existing script like In-Link.

I'm not sure that anyone who visits these forums would be up to the task of converting Links SQL over to php (sorry if there is a php guru lurking in the shadows).

I may be wrong but that is IMO.

I personally developed a Links SQL clone in PHP for my own personal use, however it isn't for sale, as it isn't portable. I really doubt you will find anyone that will do it for $900 - you are looking at atleast $5,000 for a real bare bones system.
