Is there any way you can add globals to pages that aren't in the script. Say i wanted to include the persons username throughout the whole site on a page that's not in the directory, how would i do this if able.......

Two options:

1) Server Side Includes (SSI)
2) Build the rest of your web pages via LINKS SQL.

I don't get it.......................

It is quite tricky to do as the tags are generated by Links SQL code and so to show the output on external pages you either need to "connect" the pages in some way to Links SQL or "include" the output from a Links SQL page into your external pages.

If it is just the username you are after then I think the username of a logged in user is stored in a cookie

This issue has already been discussed before...I was nice enough to re-state the suggested solutions.
