Review_Count issue, review.cgi

Review_Count issue, review.cgi
I run a site in dynamic mode, and there are links on the site to see every review a user has made (review.cgi?username=xxxxxx). I have just noticed that if a user has made say 4 reviews in total, then each link on the user's review summary page has a button that says 'Read 4 reviews', when the actual review counts are quite different. Within the category pages etc. the review counts are as they should be.

I have just tested this on the GT demo site and found the same thing occurs. Is the 'review.cgi?username=' method no longer working in Links 3 - if so, any advice on an alternative method that works with paging would be great Wink.

It looks like a bug, I'll get a fix out on the update system when I get a chance.

The update for this bug should be available in Gossamer Update.

There is still an issue with the review counts:

When a link that has reviews is added to a user's bookmarks, the review counts for all links in that folder are set to that amount.

Adrian, that update didn't seem to fix the issue?

PM me if you would like a link and login to a production site where you can see it in action.

Sorry about that, I only fixed it for the case where you had grouping enabled. If you uninstall the update and reinstall it, it should be fixed now.
