Hi. We have been using LinksSQL for years, in more than one server under our same domain (its one website, but we need more than one server to run it). When installing Links3.x in the same way as we used to and testing search.cgi, mysql went up to 123 points and the load made the server unworkable (and we are still using modperl). Is there a new functionality of some sort that makes the new version's CPU usage more demanding? Also, is there a problem with running this version on distributed servers? Thanks!

I was talking about admin => Database => Editor (Links, Properties -> Go) => Indexing Scheme. If it's NONINDEXED, then searches on a large database will take longer and require more resources. Try switching it to INTERNAL and then running a Rebuild Search (could take a while to run on a large database).
