Is it safe to acept payments using Links Sql?

I am an authorize.net user and seems to me that if someone got access to my admin account, which i hear happens often, That the hacker would have access to my authorize.net username and password and transaction key?

That does not seem to be safe? Is there a way to secure my admin panel? Also is thier a way to "block out" my authorize.net information from the admin panel. For an example Authorize.net Transaction key "************"


How does everyone else do it?
