I have installed the new 2.0 Version of Links SQL. Everything is running smooth, scripts have no bugs, but unfortunately the connection to the MySQL server goes down multiple times a day. The static pages are served via Apache without problems, but everything dynamic like add.cgi or search.cgi runs for a number of sessions and the DB Server goes down. I have to restart the whole machine again and then the scripts run fine until the next DB problem. You might check it at www.service-suche.de. Is there anyone who has a clue what this might be?

Are you running under mod_perl or SpeedyCGI or some other persistant connection? What happens if you do a `mysqladmin proc`? Are there other programs using the database?
