Well I don't know how - all I get is the download.cgi file with tons of unreadable text mixed in with the actual plugin. Tried this with IE 6 and Opera. Both the same problem. Pirate

It seems the cache is working just fine! The only question I have, is in the admin console I get:

This Plugin is tend for cache the previous results from search
1 d=1&query=cisco

This was the first query I made. I have made several other queries since then. Is it supposed to list those as well?

Hi,

I didn't test the download.cgi file on IE6 and Opera. I've just updated this script. Hope that you can download with my plugin with these browsersSly

I understand that.

After installing, and doing several searches, it only displays the first query on the admin page.

Ah! Yes, in the admin panel, it just displays one row from database.

Why does it just display the first row?

It's works great for me! Would it be very difficult to let it display all of the rows? I see it clears itself everyday, and that way, you would get a daily list of cached searches. Smile

Hi Tandat,

If you'd like me to put it up on Gossamer (so it's available when people click 'Show Plugins on Gossamer'), just send me an email with the plugin.

Cheers,

Alex

This plugin is working great on my site. A search which normally takes 12-15 seconds (real estate) is now return its results in under 1 second! A most excellent and essential plugin indeed!

A display of all the currently cachced searches would be most useful, and I would like to put my vote in for this on your next realease.

Yeah its nice...I even noticed a difference after installing it when the directory was already using mod_perl.....Im almost up to google speed now :)

Now, if I could only get my silly search timer plugin working :)

I think the search cache plugin is making it go all funny.

I have both working on my site... search timmer, logger and cahce.... categories.ca.

Not sure why it wouldn't work??

Re: [Paul] Search Cache Plugin In reply to
Mine did that as well. You have to make sure you install the timer last. I had to uninstall it, install the search cache, then reinstall it to get it to function properly. It has to do with it's position in plugin.cfg.
