Subject says it all. I think it would be good if the "Send e-mail notification on reply" tick box is automatically ticked as default. Being a forum, most of the posts are questions (especially this one), and people will more than likely want to now if theres been a response.

I don't agree that notify should be checked by default.

I visit the forums to check for questions and responses, and would rather not have email notifications. It would be a pain to have to remember to uncheck this option.
And various people get involved in providing answers. Why receive an email alert to a thread which a solution has been provided for?

Just my opinion.
