Server error
Help please !!
I am not a newbie but I am having great difficulties in installing this script.
I have changed only two lines in order to get the script working first, but I dont seem to be able to do even that.
The two lines I have edited are as follows:

Path to Perl now reads: /usr/bin/perl i.e.( total line content reads #!/usr/bin/perl )
$db_dir_url = "http://www.redtin.co.uk/cgi-bin/dbman"; (no trailing /)

I have up loaded the script files using "cute ftp" and DOUBLE checked the settings in cute ftp, they read :
host type: Unix
transfer type: ASCII

I have set all permissions as per the readme file and at one point even tried chmod 777 throughout to try and get the script to run. No luck, so I have now returned them to their required settings.

The server error log reports an error from the server:
[Fri Mar 2 22:28:42 2001] [error] [client 62.64.155.153] Premature end of script headers: /usr/local/plesk/apache/vhosts/redtin.co.uk/cgi-bin/dbman/db.cgi

I host my site with http://www.zenithtech.com/

I have checked and re-checked my syntax and can find nothing wrong.
I have read all requests for help regarding this subject in the forum but have found nothing directly related to my error.

I have tried altering the $db_script_path to the full local path instead of the path (".")
i.e. "/usr/local/plesk/apache/vhosts/redtin.co.uk/cgi-bin/dbman" NB(no trailin /)
But still no joy. I still get the above server error.

I have posted a copy of these three files: db.cgi html.pl default.cfg as text files in my public directory as follows:
http://www.redtin.co.uk/db.txt
http://www.redtin.co.uk/html.txt
http://www.redtin.co.uk/default.txt

Can anyone help to solve this mystery? Please !!! 8-)

Premature end of script headers usually means 1) binary uploads or 2) incorrect path to perl.

You've indicated that you've doublechecked the upload, could you doublecheck the path to perl? (I didn't spot anything wrong in your files Crazy)
