When I try to run db.cgi I get the following
error. Does anyone know what causes this?

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request

Most internal server errors are caused by either not uploading in ASCII mode or having the first line of db.cgi not pointing to perl5 on your system.

I would delete the files and upload them again, being absolutely certain that every file is uploaded in ASCII mode. If you still get the error, as your server administrator where Perl5 is on your system and check the first line of db.cgi to be sure that it matches what your admin tells you. (Be sure to leave the #! at the beginning of the line.)
