Like some others in this forum, I have some troubles with the the error "Oops, there was a problem logging into the system: invalid/expired user session" when I use uid=default. The strange thing is that this error only happens when I log in by a friends Office. At my office and at home I connect with no problems. I already tried to fix the problem with the solution for "xitami" webservers in your FAQ. Coult it be, because in my friends office they use a "delink" Router to go on the Internet ? To login with the Admin Password works also in my friends office perfect.

That's a strange one.. So going to:

db.cgi?uid=default

will log you on, but if your friend tries it he get's an invalid/expired user session? Turn on $db_debug and send me the full output of what you see, and the full output of what your friend sees..
