Updating an html file
Hello, im kinda new to perl.. in fact im brand new.. anyways... from the looks of DBMan, it's a very, VERY nice lookin program.. i just need to learn what to do. I essentially want only a handful of accounts who can add, while everyone can view everything without having to log in. making it so that the view when you are searching, logged in, is how it appears to everyone not logged in.. i guess, simply put, i want to "save" that in html. please help..thanks..

My suggestion is that you go to my site -- the url is below my signature -- and follow the tutorial. Install the demo, check it out and then start creating your own database. If you find that it won't work for what you want, you'll have only spent a few hours, but you'll have learned a little about Perl and how CGI programs work. But you may find that it does suit your needs and you'll be way ahead of the game. Smile

If you're going to be creating an .html file, you probably should be looking at Links. That's what it does, and very well! Smile
