I am using the short/long display mod and it is working perfectly but of course I want to expand on it. I have an icon in short display that indicates a photo is included on the long display record page. I would however, like to restrict the size of the photo on the record page by having it automatically reduced to a thumbnail image or having the user send it to me so that I can reduce myself and then create a link on the record page (by clicking on the image in the long record display) to open to the originally sized image.

Is this impossible or doesn't someone know an easy way of doing this?

If you check the FAQ noted below under the section "Images" you will find some thread references relating to working with thumbnails. You may be able to find a solution there.
