Anyone know if it's possible to provide a feature where users can vote (on a scale of 1 to 10) on the entries in my database? Preferably limited to one vote per person. The site is public and does not require a username/password to get in.

If your users don't login, how will you know whether they have voted before or not?

I'd like a mod like that too.

Maybe it can set a cookie when they vote? Also, maybe it can log an IP incase the user is smart and deletes the cookie so they can vote over and over.

It would also be neat if it printed out a page of the highest rated records along with total votes.

I suppose the Top Ten mod could be altered to do this. The most recent one (written by "TheFew") includes an IP check.

It's now on my list of mods to write.
