Is this possible with dbman?
Registered user logs on and comes to add form.
In filling out the form has 2 options on one of the fields 1 for sale 2 not for sale.
Checking not for sale the record is added normally.
Checking for sale the user (after filling out the rest of the form) then comes to another form asking for c/card details.
In filling out the c/c form the amount is calculated as a % of an amount the user places in the add form which in turn is sent to a merchant account.
The record is then added.

I've heard it said many times before, all things are possible with perl. Unfortunately, I do not know how you would go about setting this up.

There are questions which come to mind though - form asking for c/card details - you do plan on doing this thru a SSL connection, don't you?

Yes that portion would go through the secure server.

I'll give this some thought johnr. I haven't tried putting dbman functions thru a shopping cart but, I've had a lot of experience with shopping carts and related areas.

Would you be able to save your files as text files and upload them to your server? Then I could get the files and do some experimenting with them. Post the url where the files can be viewed.
