I have a group of professionals that are located in different regions.... how can I let the user select a region and then search for the professional based on their specialty.

Please help!

Hello Tommy, haven't worked with it myself but I've seen many posts discussing the Boolean mod. You might try checking the Resource area for the mod, searching in this forum or at LoisC's unofficial faqs for info on the mod.

In the FAQ noted below under the section "Viewing" there are 3 references you might want to check out:

Multi-tier category list with a count
Alphabetical list of all the values in a field (plus: 2 level category list)
List current Makes and their associated Models
