The better solution is to use your ODBC driver and use DSN files from Access. You can download the MySQL modules from www.cpan.com or www.perl.com. However, in terms of CPU and overhead processing factors, it would be best to ODBC, which the SQL version of DBMAN works with.

let me try to explain a bit..i am setting up an intranet in Jamaica..whre customers call dial up to access the inf. on my "INTRANET" SERVER....if u would recoment for the server..
1. NT Server software
2. Linux
3. Unix..

i want to make sure the SQL version on DBMAN is compatable the the server software i choose

Ah...with the proper Server software and modules installed...yes, it will work.

You need one of the following:

1) SQL Server
2) MSQL
3) MySQL
4) ODBC
