Modifications to MySQL version
Question:

Can the DBman MySQL version be customized to use the Modification scripts in the resource center?

Does it work the exact same way as the regular version, but just connects to a MySQL database?

Is there a Demo version that I can test?

No.

Yes. However the script uses SQL syntax.

No.

BTW: I attempted to upgrade a client's standard DBMAN database to DBMAN SQL, and it was pure nightmare...due to my limited knowledge of SQL and MySQL databases.

The answer to the first question is it depends. I have converted dbman to dbsql with only a few problems. I had several mods in my html.pl and they all work fine. I have not made any changes to db.cgi script though. If you would like to see a working site go to http://www.vettracker.com/temp1.htm

There are only a few minor changes that had to be made to get it running. Mainly pointing the script to the correct server.
