I have noticed that it is possible to input and store invalid dates e.g. 29-Feb-2001 and 31-Jun-2001 and they were both accepted.
Is there an updated date routine to fix this or is it as is?

I'm afraid this is as it is.

I might be able to write something for it later, but my brain is a little frazzled right now. :)

Just for info, I resorted to adding some manual validation in the sub_validate for general obvious invalid dates. E.g. 31-Jun-2001 etc.
