Adding multiple records offline?

Adding multiple records offline?
Is it possible to add multiple records to the database while offline? (We pay by the minute for online time).

I am very new to DBman, and do not know anything about Perl.

This has been discussed MANY times in this Forum! Wink All you have to do is create either an Excel or Access table with the same fields as you have in DBMAN. Then export the table into a pipe delimited flat file text format (like the one in DBMAN).

Hope this makes sense.

Is there a sample available on how to do so?
(Too, I do have Excel, but do not see the command for a pipe delimited export).

Another way of doing this would be just to do it in a text editor.

Just be careful not to make any mistakes...

I do this everonce in awhile when I need to make a mass change to every record. It is quicker to just edit using Notepad.

Why don't you use Xitami. Not only can you Add, Modify and all that offline, but you can also build your DB offline.
My latest DBman was built without using one second of online time.
Do a search for Xitami.
