Is there any code where archiving/unarchiving can be added to the permissions selected??

You could make it available to people who can delete their records. If they are allowed to delete then I would figure they can also archive/unarchive, would be a simple addition to the menu with the code from the delete button replicated..

Else it would involve an extra field in the default.pass file and extra code in the admin section, not difficult but the other way is easiest.
