I'm numbering the search results on the short view mod wit

h the variable $i.

It works, but when there are more than 10 results (I limited display to 10 per page), in the next page the counting starts all over again.

For example, if the search returned 15 results, the first page is ok when the results are numbered from 1 to 10. but when you go to the next page, the 5 results are displayed from 1-5 instead of 11-15.

I tried to move the $i=1 from view_success to other places but it didn't do the job.

What can I do?

Try $record_number instead of $i
