Export Search Results to Excel
Can someone point me in the right direction?

I installed the Export Search Results to Excel Mod and it appears to work . . . it saves the results in the csv directory. However, when I click "Click here to retrieve it" I get an "Internal Server Error."

I used FTP to copy the csv file to my hard disk. It looks just fine in Excel.

Here's my setup:
-Installed standard setup of DBMan - works great.
-Installed Multiple Select Fields Mod v1.0 - works great.
-Installed Export Search Results to Excel - Exports but retrieval of csv not working.
-Using IE 5.0 browser/Excel 2000.
-csv directory = chmod 755

I think I have looked at about everything in the Forums but did not find my specific problem mentioned. (I've had much success installing scripts, but I'm not a programmer.)

Thanks for your help.

Jim

Make sure that you have uploaded the file in binary mode.

The Server Error Log recorded this error message:

------------------
failed to open log file
fopen: Permission denied
httpd: [Tue Dec 14 22:37:30 1999] [error] [client 24.1.116.42] Premature end of script headers: /www/oakmem/cgi-bin/dbman/csv/Jim.94523261311992.csv
------------------

Based on this info, can you tell me what settings I need to change?

I have setup permissions as follows:
View/Search: Registered users
Add/Modify/Delete: Admin

Thanks,
Jim

You need to change the permission of your log file to 666 (rw-rw-rw-) to clear up the first error message.

The second one shows that you are probably missing codes to open the csv file.
