New DBMan site finally up and running!

New DBMan site finally up and running!
I just got my new DBMan site up tonight. There's lots of stuff there -- mods, tutorials, a bookstore (powered by DBMan) where you can browse Perl and CGI references, some links to other resources, and a page that will tell you a little about me personally. (There's even a pic -- sorta! Smile )

Coming as soon as I can get to it is a script I call the Configurator, which takes Alex's definition creator a step or two further. It's in the works right now.

I'd appreciate it if folks would come by and give it a look. I'm most concerned about the tutorial section and whether anything there makes any sense. A lot of what I wrote there is based on the questions people have asked here on the forum.

Also, if you have some books on Perl or CGI, I would appreciate your coming by the bookstore and leaving a review. If I don't have a book listed that you think I should have, please use the "Suggest a Book" button.

Oh. I haven't told you where it is yet. Smile

If you find anything that doesn't work right, or a link I entered wrong, *please* let me know!

Thanks much. Smile

Very nice site Carol, and no doubt very helpful to anybody looking for help with dbMan. A bit "girly" for my liking though! Smile

Keep up the good work!

Great Site, Carol!

I do agree with, dahamsta, it is a bit feminine...But you know what...the Web allows us to virtually present ourselves. So, I think the Site represents you well.

It is well organized and one that I will bookmark for future reference (that is an honor in my case, since I am very picky about sites that I bookmark). I love the section on how to use Gossamer-Threads Forum...Everyone should read that section!

Smile Keep up the great work!!

(Alex should link your site in all the DBMAN sections of this site.) Smile
