dear forum,
how can I export/save a MS Excel'97-file to a '|'-separated
ASCII-file. cvs or tab-formatted ASCII is no problem ....

Search this forum for "excel" - there is a thread that includes a macro to save an Excel sheet as a pipe delimited file. I've used it, and it works well.

I got it! (after hard newbe-work on ms visual basic).
