Internal Error
In a recent question titled "Demo worked but configurator broke it, by CyborgNY, LoisC gave the advice:

--------------------------

in your .cfg file move:

$db_debug = 0;

to the top of the file above # File and URL's so it will catch errors in the .cfg file.

--------------------------

I have been bashing my head for days, unable to get any debug messages except the infernal "Internal error ......" and knew the problem was in syntax somewhere. But where? "Wood" and "trees" are words that are appropriate when dealing with a 2,000 line html.pl file. Crazy

By moving that one little line in the cfg file, I got a message that told me exactly where my problem was (a missing ";" in the email part of the script!) Unsure

Is there any reason why that line should not reside permanently in that position, where it obviously does more good? And why wasn't it there, all along. Mad

Wish I were a perl expert, too.

I meant to add a big "Thank You" to LoisC, for being such a Treasure, and a mine of information. Without you, and other highly skilled contributors to this Forum, there would, I am sure, be a higher suicide rate among DBMan manipulators. Pirate

Your very welcome. Without JPDeni providing that and many other tips I think there would be much more trial and error finding problems in scripts.

That snippet of code for useful error messages also is a great help in locating errors and will catch those in the .cfg file if the snippet is added to all your files :)

I'll post a message to Alex and see if he would be so kind as to make the change in the distribution of DBMan.
