It it possible to convert a database record to a static .html page based on a template (Like Links 2). I think this would be a great feature to DBman. The problem is that I have about 2000 record in my database, and it would be faster if they were static.

Why not convert your database into Links 2.0? It seems like you are requesting many features that comes with Links 2.0. You could still use DBMAN for somethings, like modifying and adding links.

I would recommend reading the DBMAN and Links Marriage and Integration Threads posted awhile back in this forum and in the Links 2.0 Customization Forum.

I'm thinking perhaps this reference may provide what you are looking for "Creating html-pages". If not, you may find other ideas and methods which would provide a solution.
