Combining Secure_Lookup MOD with Mass Mailer MOD
Hi everyone,

I would like to mass email all people in my default.pass

My problem is, Mass Mailer requires a 'Fieldname that contains the email address of the user'
i.e. email address needs to be part of the default.db'

I've found an old thread that touches on this by AnthroRules, here.
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/perl/forum/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=DBCust&Number=11831&Search=true&Forum=All_Forums&Words=Mass Mailer default.pass&Match=And&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=allposts

However, I cannot find the code and files he refers to.

Any help gratefully received
Thanks

Dezire

I believe the thread you are referring to deals with an external mass mailer script created by Eliot.

It's not the same as the Internal Mass Mailer that JPDeni created.

I think JPDeni's would need alot of modification to pull the email address out of the .pass file instead of the .db.

Yes. It had the same name as JPdenis 'Mass Mailer' and I think the updated version was called 'Web Mailer', but I don't think either were officially released.

The links to these scripts in the old posts are broken.
I've tried to contact Elliot, no reply yet though.

Does anyone here have a copy of these scripts?

Thanks
Dezire

Here's the direct link to JPDeni's version.

She had a problem with lost files a few months back and may have renamed some. All her mods are linked from her web site though, and all but a few are available from there.

Hope this helps
