I have been working on a 107 field database in dbman.
Have all the basics down and everything going fine - in netscape 4.04 - ...
Came up with a problem in IE 4.0? adding new record. Kept getting "could not understand" error when trying to add record. Turned on debug, and IE locked me up big time.
To make a long story short, in my long add form, there where some html errors, like the big one, forgot to put in some &form_font variables but had them closed </font>. Seems like a minor thing, but I guess IE thought it wasn't. Had to verify all the html code before it added correctly. Just thought I would pass this on.

Guess I was not completely correct about the strict HTML code in IE. There seems to be a limit on how long the URL can be when submiting the form in IE (3.? - 4.?). It chops the ending off creating the "Error: Unknown Action.
I'm sorry, I received a command that I did not understand".
Am I correct in this? NS seems to pass unlimited...
