I would like to keep the default table output for my results, however, I would like to sort them across and in seperate rows, like a chess board, but with space in between the squares. The short/long form and spreadsheet Mod's place all the data into a single table. Is there any way to accomplish this? Can the afore mentioned mod's do such a thing, or is it a simple matter of html?

If i understand your question correctly, then yes it sounds like a matter of HTML coding.
