the 12th field in my db definition is my upload field. does it matter which of the following i use?
$upload_field = '12';
or
$upload_field = 12;
$upload_field = '12';
or
$upload_field = 12;

Hi,
If its just a number, then no. If it was a string, then yes. It could be worth looking at this:
