mod_gzip

mod_gzip
I have had complaints form some users that my website (http://www.iyengar-yoga.com/) only displays gibberish (i.e. html code).

As far as I can see it could be related to mod_gzip. The persons complaining all use Macs, and from their mail headers I read that they use MS Outlook Express v 5, so they probably use IE5 (unfortunately, they haven't answered my emails yet...).

Anyone having similar problems?

Anyone with a Mac (running OS 9.x and IE5) who would like to help me test?

Thanks a lot.

The only problem I've had is with GossamerForum not being able to POST when mod_gzip is on....it gives a 500 on Windows.

Some people also had css problems here but that can be solved by excluding css files.

Is it normal html you are having problems with?.....I guess QooQ could help Angelic

I have excluded .js and .css files from being compressed.

My HTML is (more or less) XHTML 1.0.

It seems to be a Mac problem (and only with IE, not with Netscape).
