Verifying the authenticity of email
Does anyone have a script that can verify if the email exists or not?
I mean, I donīt want just to know if the email is valid verifying if is like xxx@yy.com
But I want to go to yy.com simulate I am sending a email to it and see if it is valid or not, if the user exist and so.
There are some windows programs for doing that, but I want to do it via Perl.

How would be the logic for doing that?

You can't do it. Check the perlfaq's. There's an entry in their explaining why.
