Live mirror backup

Live mirror backup
Hi,

I just added another Hd to my server, and pretend to use it as backup.

How "server intensive" are drive-to-drive backups?

Any guidance on how to set a live backup on the other drive?

Thanks in advance

Visit your vendor's web site and also general Internet/Intranet web sites...don't know how this question relates to Perl or CGI.

Well, once I saw some CGI's that made an exact copy of a remote site periodically.

On the other hand, I bet nobody on the GT community would be bothered about replying to this post if they knew how to do this, even if it's not 100% perl related.

Well...there is really no general advice about tape backup drives or equipment...it varies based on vendor and software you use for your backups...so, again, I don't think that you will find a total relevant answer to your question in a support forum site that deals with programming in MySQL, Perl, CGI, etc.
