cgi Scripts using d/l prompts

cgi Scripts using d/l prompts
I have an odd question here that I can't figure out...and hopefully you can. I can run cgi scripts without any problem for the most part, but I just uploaded a couple new ones and it is asking me to download the file rather than run it!

I copied links into another directory and changed all the appropriate settings. If I click on ****/admin.cgi , it prompts me to d/l the cgi file...the permissions are set at 755 in my cgi bin so I don't have a clue. If I click on the file perldiver.cgi in the same directory, it works fine!

Anyways, just thought I'd ask....

if you save the file when it sks you to download, what is in the file? For instance, in Links 2.0, an error message is usually in the file.

It d/l the file without any problems...I tried it on my other computer and it worked fine so I figured it had to be something on my system not working properly. Good excuse to finally install my new version of windows...

Everything is working ok now that I did it so I have no clue????

Thanks King!
