ive been playing with this and cant get it to work. I have a page that has a menu on the left side in its own frame and a main frame. I have the menu so that when you put the mouse over it, it displays another menu with stuff to the right of the main menu, as the frame ends at the right of this menu, the extended menu gets cut off by the edge of the frame, is it possible to make the menu appear over the mainfram some how? or how do i go about it?

It's very simple: don't use frames. Never.

ok then, how do i make a navigation menu that sits to the left of a long page sit still in one place without frames and not have it jumping all around the place and making a nusience of itself?

well ive found out how to do it after research, and it works sweeeeeeeeeet. couldnt ask for anything better.
