What is remote hosting? ...you mean like having a server somewhere other than your house?

Yes, I mean where it is someone else's server.

I enjoy (sarcastically) the fact that my server is not mine, and it is shared... and the fact that it is at a remote location, I get connectivity problems when the carriers between here and florida are down. A major backbone in the US has been having problems (don't they all), which has been preventing me from accessing my server on occasion.

However, it is cheap and nasty...and thats what I pay for. I must admit, they have become a little better recently.

They have no grounds for being upset... since my only offers for sponsorship have come from the USA. I plan to put my own server in here... but $$$ and know how stand in the way of that right now.
