Can someone running a webserver on their pc try going to this URL and tell me what happens...

That's very odd. Have you tried flushing your DNS? (assuming your on XP)

The popup blocker isn't currently active.

shop.kazaa.com also does the same so it is something to do with ads.

Thanks that was it. It existed several times in the hosts file. It works now I've removed the entries.
