Yes i was actually - but forgot that this forum has some disfunctions also in the new NS7 and i believe the disfunction here is (i saw it before happening) that when you hit "quote" it only quotes without adding the new text.

Here it is again:

"These hits are updated and the files deleted each time you rebuild the directory."

Is in my Links2 no longer so. I have uncommented all the build stuff that would build those "NEW" "Hits" and RATINGS" folder in the main dir and i guess that is a side effect of it????

In my Links2 they simply build up, a single file per click on any link or so in the "hits" folder in "data" and there is no deleting anymore ecxept for manual.

I myself do not have any interest in checking how many hits i got and if there was any way to completely stop that counting of hits please let me know (if you know).

I have already trying myself through a bunch of things in nph-build and links.cfg but so far nothing has stopped it, i also deleted the index_count file but that was of course built right away again.........

So in short my question is:

How to stop the counting of hits (clicks on links) all together???
