Whilst I sympathize with your situation and don't wish to appear insensitive (I too have gone through troublesome times over the last few months) I still think this is an issue that needs resolving.
It takes literally a few moments to update/upload the plugin which would save quite a few people a lot of time and effort.
Posting a fixed plugin in the forum will result in it being "lost" within a few days and unless you know its been posted in the first place you aren't going to know it is there.
Currently the plugins as they are, are "dead"....they are of no use to anyone except those that wish to spend some time correcting the errors....I expect most would try to install them and when they hit an error just give up.
If you don't wish to continue developing them or have other commitments perhaps you could pass on responsibility to another willing plugin developer or at least withdraw them to stop further confusion.
I have no personal interest in the resolution to this problem as I have aquired the knowledge to be able to fix the errors but I've posted this thread to hopefully bring about a change to benefit others who aren't so confident with perl.
I don't wish for this to be taken out of context...its not meant to be provocative, I would just like to see a resolution one way or the other, for other peoples sakes mainly.
